quick summary (barnesandnoble.com): Chronicles, in "instant message" format, the day-to-day experiences, feelings, and plans of three friends, Zoe, Maddie, and Angela, as they begin tenth grade.
my review: This book was very good, it was funny, it made me laugh, it made me wonder, it was great. It is definitely for young adults, not little girls, and it was so interesting reading a book in instand messaging format.
Would I reccommend it: Yes!

my rating: 5 stars
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4 1/2 stars
quick summary (barnesandnoble.com): Through their instant messages, three inseparable friends have shared the ups and downs of high school. They've survived a flirtatious teacher, a witchy classmate, a pot-smoking smoocher, a Care Bear-toting stalker, and much, much more. Now it's their senior year, and Angela, Zoe, and Maddie-otherwise know as the winsome threesome-are feeling invincible.
my review: Very good book, but it was sad because I knew it was the last one in the series.
Would I reccommend it: Yes, yes, yes!

Summer Boys.

my rating: 4 1/2 stars
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4 1/2 stars
quick summary (barnesandnoble.com): It's summer. It's hot. And it's time to hook up. Cousins Ella, Beth, and Jamie are at their family's beach house for the summer, and they're gearing up for the wildest time of their lives. Sassy Ella is majorly crushing on a sexy older boy -- who just happens to be her sister's new boyfriend. Meanwhile, practical Beth is surprised when she finds herself falling for her best friend George. And shy, creative Jamie gets her heart broken when her summer love abandons her. Three girls, too many boys, and some seriously stormy romances...it all adds up to one unforgettable summer.
my review: For awhile I couldn't get through the first page, because it seemed so boring, but once you get into it you don't want to stop reading.
Would I reccommend it: If you like stories that are told from all different points of views then Yes!
You, Maybe.

my rating: 4 1/2 stars
rating from barnesandnoble.com: 2 1/2 stars
quick summary (barnesandnoble.com): Josie is independent, fierce, and does not care what anyone thinks about her, especially where guys are concerned. She may flirt with them, and even kiss them, but it doesn't mean anything, not even with Michael. He's more like a friend-with-benefits.
So who can explain what happens when Carson Gold decides he's interested in her? Carson Gold, the hottest senior, the one everyone secretly watches. At first Josie treats him the same way she treats everybody else. But something about him gets to her. Maybe it's the same thing that causes everyone to watch him. Maybe it's something between them, something just he and Josie share.
my review: I really liked this book until it got to the end. The character started to lose who she really was and I really didn't like the ending. It left some stuff hanging.
Would I reccommend it: Yes I would.
Speak

rating from barnesandnoble.com: 4 1/2 stars
quick summary (barnesandnoble.com): A traumatic event near the end of the summer has a devastating effect of Melinda's freshman year in high school.
my review:I read this book in school for English class. I didn't expect it to be that great, but it was amazing. There were some slow parts, but in the end I was really glad I got to read it.
Would I reccommend it: Yes, definitely!
